Ellie's Take on A&M's Move

I explained to Ellie that her future Alma Mater would be changing conferences today. Here's how our conversation went.

Me: "Hey Ellie! Let's play on the floor. There's something I need to talk to you about.

Ellie:

Me: "Did you know that A&M is leaving the Big 12 to go to the SEC?"

Ellie:

Me: "Yep. It's true. But it'll be good for our school."

Ellie:

Me: "We'll play better teams and have more recruiting power."

Ellie:

Me: "We'll also get more money and more media coverage."

Ellie:

Me: "It also means that we will probably lose more games at first since the teams in the SEC are tougher."

Ellie:

Me: "No no. Don't worry though. It'll make us better in the long run.

Ellie:

Me: "Some of the schools still in the Big 12 are throwing a hissy fit though."

Ellie:

Me: "Ya. Kinda like that. But you know what we say to them?"

Ellie:

Me: "Suck it up! There is nothing you can do about it you big cry babies!!"

Ellie:

Me: "Oops. Sorry Ellie. I didn't mean to insult babies."

  2. my dearest ellie,
i love the chat you had with your momabout your move of your future alma mater to the SEC. you will love the new conference but not right off. your mother is wise beyond her years so take your lumps at first and after a while you will be having fun as your football program has already caught the eye of the SEC and your home field advantage "The Twelth Man" is just like every school in our conference so half the battle is over. you can always count on your great uncle to walk you through the tough times. i look forward to more news and photos as i will check in from time to time. my love to all and as usual," It's Football Time in Tennessee, Goooooo Vols!!!!", love your great uncle, Tom
